Why do we care about plant health?
We believe that a new generation of agricultural technologies and a renewed focus on regenerative practices are key to building a sustainable food supply. By adopting diagnostic and data technologies from other industries we can take a new approach to plant health that unlocks the natural power of plants.
Just like us humans, plants require the proper nutrients to maintain a healthy immune system. Imbalanced nutrients can make plants susceptible to attacks from pests and pathogens and requires a short-term fix (i.e. chemical inputs) to treat the symptoms. The goal of our CRD plant health platform is to provide farmers with the tools to improve plant health as the first defense so chemical intervention is only required as a secondary solution.
